HOW TO USE

Apply a quarter-size amount of Chébé Hydrating
Shampoo to wet hair, working into the scalp and pulling through to the tip.

Lather, rinse and remove excess water.

If you are in a hurry, apply a quarter-size amount
of Chébé + HA™ Nourishing Conditioner to wet hair, working into the scalp and pulling through to the tip. After 3 minutes, rinse and remove excess water.

If you have more time, or on days your hair requires
extra-deep conditioning, apply a quarter size amount of Chébiotic™ Hair Mask, Repairing Deep Conditioner from root to tip. Rinse thoroughly after 5 minutes.

Follow with your favorite SALWA PETERSEN® leave-in treatment (sold separately).

Deep Conditioner is a great pre-wash treatment for all textured hair types, especially if you have an itchy scalp or dry and brittle hair. Before showering, apply it
to dry hair and scalp working section-by-section from root to tip, and let it sit for at least 5 minutes (or as long as overnight). Then rinse and proceed with our Chébé Hydrating Shampoo and Chébé + HA™ Nourishing

Will this shampoo lather, since it's primarily made from Chébé and argan oil, and includes no sulfates?

Yes!

It is formulated with a decyl glucoside– a mild and biodegradable cleansing surfactant (lathering ingredient). Make sure your hands and hair are wet, squeeze product into the hand, and rub the cleanser between your palms to transform it into a lather. 

How frequently should I use this shampoo?

That depends on your scalp, strand type and texture. If you have an oilier scalp with fine or thin hair, you can use it 4-5 times per week as your regular shampoo. If you have a drier scalp with thicker coils, kinks, curls, or
waves, use it once per week.

Can I use the SALWA PETERSEN® Chébiotic™ Hair Mask before shampooing as a “prepoo”, instead of just as a repairing deep conditioner? I saw someone on TikTok doing it.

Absolutely! It is a great way to nourish and strengthen your hair follicles. The postbiotics in the formula enhance healthy hair growth while soothing and respecting the scalp’s microbiome. Try using it on your scalp and hair for at least 5 minutes before shampooing with our Chébé Hydrating Shampoo.
